Timeline
VSOs must go through the standard process of requesting funding from the GSC Funding Committee, so that the Funding Committee's recommendation can be presented to the GSC in a timely manner. The GSC does not provide retroactive funding. The GSC is not responsible for any purchases made before funding is approved or for an event in which funding was not approved.
Please submit your funding request according to the below timelines to allow for sufficient time for (1) the GSC Funding Committee to review funding requests and work with financial officers to ensure funding requests are within guidelines, and (2) for the GSC to review and vote on funding requests. Funding requests must be submitted by Sunday 5pm to be voted on for that week's GSC meeting. Funding requests that are submitted outside of the below timelines are NOT guaranteed to be considered in time. Plan accordingly when preparing your funding requests.
